Robyn Nemeth (Treasurer)

I want to become a Student Council Officer so that I can promote a memorable high school experience for the entire school community. As a three-year Class of 2023 officer, most of my efforts have been aimed at assisting the Class of 2023 in particular; however, events like the outdoor movie nights were not solely for our class–and that aspect inspired me to serve a larger community. I love to interact with people, whether that be volunteering to sell concessions or working with my fellow officers. In addition to incorporating their ideas, I wish to increase student input in events. I believe that my involvement in several aspects of the school community, such as choir and volleyball, will allow us to acquire a wide and diverse outlook on students’ concerns, and with the help of my fellow officers, I hope to relieve some of these concerns. Furthermore, I enjoy planning events and would love to improve existing ones as much as I can: to turn an event like Homecoming into more than just a dressy get-together in a streamer-filled gym. Even just enhancing decorations or adding more inclusive and varied food choices would be a step forward.
