Sarina Ahmed (President)

I’m Sarina Ahmed and I’m running for Student Council President. As a devoted member of general student council and a three-year class of 2023 officer, as well as treasurer of French club and Vice President of FCCLA, my high school experience has been characterized by service and leadership. I am approachable and love communicating with my peers, so I will always be a friendly face for people to reach out to. During my sophomore year, for class of 2023, I suggested and assisted in planning the outdoor movie nights for the school, which were a huge success in bringing together the whole school, especially post-covid. If elected, I want to have a presidency that embraces the interests and identities of all students; high school is so fleeting, and especially after the uncertainty of the past two years, I want to do my part to ensure that the limited time that students have in high school is memorable. To ensure that school spirit days and events are creative and appeal to the desires of the school, I would like to create an open line of communication through a suggestion form where students voice their requests, and we can cater to them.
