Ms. Kristin Marmion-Hayes

Coming from an elementary school setting, Ms. Marmion Hayes is looking forward to a change of pace as she enters her first year of teaching high school Spanish. Ironically, she is not a native speaker of the language and none of her family members speak it. However, Spanish became a passion of hers from her high school education, and this passion continued to grow throughout her college years when she concentrated on Spanish for her elementary education degree. At Edison High School, she hopes to implement some of the “elementary spirit and playfulness to the high school classroom.” Outside of school and Spanish, she enjoys traveling with her husband, making crafts, and hanging out with friends/family.
