Ms. Aurora Loufek, Assistant Principal

A woman at the EHS community that I admire is Ms. Hendricks. She teaches our Child Growth and Development course, and she is in pre-school.  One of the major reasons that I admire her is that she has been teaching for around 53 or 54 years. What I admire is that she hasn’t lost her passion for teaching. I imagine that she is as dedicated now as she was when she began at the tender age of 22 or 23. I admire that kind of tenacity. She is also very involved in the Edison High community, always willing to lend a hand, and always has a positive upbeat attitude about her. If you ask her, she would say she has the best job because she gets to work with the younger and older population of the school so she has the best of both worlds.
