Ms. Lynn Dodd-Harris, Math teacher

When I met Mrs. Gonczi, she was in the 8th grade at Herbert Hoover and I was a 1st year 7th grade teacher.  That was 22 years ago, and my impression of her then has not changed one bit. She is one of the hardest working, enthusiastic, and dedicated teachers at EHS.  Even when she is having a bad or stressful day, (which for teachers can be 3-4 times a week), she has an infinite amount of patience and understanding. She goes above and beyond each and every day for her students, even if it means staying up late, coming in early, or re-explaining a concept in 12 different ways.  Although I was her mentor during her first year here at EHS, she has taught me far more about what it means to be a great teacher than I think I could ever teach her
