Amy Yuan (Treasurer)

Hi, my name is Amy Yuan and I am running for Student Council Treasurer. Being a varsity athlete, Italian National Honors Society member, and having contributed to clubs such as FCCLA, UNICEF, and Rotary, it is evident that I uphold the importance of collaboration and the communities I am a part of. My goal as a Student Council Officer is to reinforce our diverse community and to create a comfortable environment for students to grow and learn in. Now, having been online my freshman year of high school, I find myself longing for the events that I had missed out on and wondering if my high school experience would have been better with a more involved freshman year. I want to ensure that the students here don’t feel like I did: feeling like I have missed out or couldn’t do enough during high school. I can lie and say that I will grant everyone’s wishes with ease, but I won’t. In all honesty, I am truly devoted to using my skills to benefit the school/community and becoming a great Student Council Officer.
