Arman Chotani, a four-year member of the EHS orchestra, choir, and EHS DEI leadership team, has been given the title of Rotary’s November Senior of the Month.

Chotani is immensely grateful for his friends and family, who are his biggest inspiration and greatest support system. Chotani also highly appreciates Mr. Charles Ross and the rest of the faculty for all the opportunities he has been given and credits them with his desire to maintain a presence of kindness and professionalism while at Edison High. He hopes he has made an impact through his interactions with the EHS community.

During his time at EHS, Chotani has participated in the EHS Orchestra, Choir, DEI Leadership team, and has helped out in a few other clubs. Outside of school, Chotani is part of a few musical ensembles.

Chotani has been on the EHS Orchestra’s Student Board since last year and is a member of NHS, English Honor Society, French Honor Society, and Tri-M Music Society. Most recently, he has been the Orchestra Student Teaching Assistant.

After graduating from EHS, Chotani aspires to go to college to study both music and liberal arts, most likely psychology. He is interested in studying ethnomusicology and religion. Chotani hopes to eventually pursue a career in either music program direction or sound design.

To the current and incoming underclassmen, Chotani highlights the importance of being kind and patient. He highlights how these important traits benefit oneself in not only in the EHS community but in society at large as well.

“As cliché as it sounds, in the present day, tolerance and kindness goes a long way in making your personal high school experience and our community a better place,” expressed Chotani.
