Senior Of The Month: Aditya Modi

Aditya Modi ‘22, September’s Senior of The Month, pushed through high school borrowing Walmart’s motto: “Save money. Live better.”

As part of the STEM Academy, Modi started his high school journey in a rigorous place. He recalls AP Biology being his most challenging course. Aside from the negative parts of high school, Modi has made many memories he will cherish. Some of his favorite memories include Diwalit, the homecoming dance, and the recent dumpling eating contest.

While he admits these events are enjoyable, Modi primarily values bantering with his friends throughout high school. His group of friends have been a pillar to his successes.

Throughout high school, he has been involved in Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA). Other than that, robotics and quiz bowl were essential for him. He has also been involved in Edison High’s Tennis Team. Outside of school, Modi was a part of the Summer Technology Internship program and assisted in many volunteering programs.

As Modi leaves high school, he reminisces over the time he has spent through exciting yet traumatizing experiences. He would like to give a thanks to Ms. Tierney and Dr. Nasser for making his experience at high school better. He plans to major in finance or computer science at the University of Southern California.
