Our two athletes of this week, Georgi Petrov ‘24 and Kalina Petrova ‘27, represented Edison High at the 2024 Youth Olympic Games Curling Trials in Denver earlier this year. These trial games were a competition in order to determine who will qualify to go to the games in South Korea. The siblings finished with a 2–2 record and only missed the playoffs by an inch. As they honored not only Edison High but also Team USA, they gained an amazing experience and brought pride to the Eagles Nest.
