A current freshman at Edison High School, Emma Mercado is a new staff writer for the Journalism & Media (JAM) elective. Emma aspires to be an active member of the school community by joining clubs like yearbook and the newspaper. She is confident that her experience with The Eagle’s eye and the JAM elective will prepare her to pursue a career in journalism in the future. When she isn’t studying, Emma enjoys listening to music, spending time with her friends and family, and watching her favorite television shows.
