A leader for the boys varsity soccer team, Shiloh Estoque ‘24 is April’s Rotary Senior of the Month.
During Estoque’s time at EHS, he has “devoted himself” to soccer, playing varsity soccer for his whole high school career and eventually becoming captain his senior year. He is most proud of attending and winning the GMC All-Stars, the Greater Middlesex Conference, for which only a select few are chosen to play against others within the county. And for track and field, even though Estoque only recently joined the sport, he has set the 40-second, 4-by-1, and 60-meter school records. This student athlete is also a part of the National Honor Society.
Outside of school, Estoque enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Given his limited time in high school, he appreciates every moment he spends with his family, whether at the dinner table or hiking. He also credits his religion with his success since he believes it set him on the right path.
After graduation, Estoque plans to major in biomedical or mechanical engineering at Rutgers. He wants to do engineering because he likes math and physics, and he wants to help people and impact the environment.
To the incoming class, a piece of advice he has is to “put yourself out there, because in the end, your high school experience will be memorable.”
