Our first athlete of the week is Dedrick Harvey ‘25 on the boys basketball team. Harvey has been a key player in the last three winning games against Carteret, New Brunswick, and J.P. Stevens. Notably, in their recent win against J.P. Stevens, he scored thirteen points, five assists, eight rebounds, and eight steals. Harvey continues to be a leading player in the team as he completes his high school basketball career.

Smart Scores

Our second athlete of the week is Olivia Smart ‘25 on the girls basketball team. In a recent match against Spotswood, Smart helped her team win, scoring nineteen points and fourteen rebounds. Smart continues to shine during her fourth basketball season, with a total of 159 points and 144 rebounds.

Shriaditi Kancherla is currently a sophomore and an editor for the Features section, and has written for the publication since her freshman year. In addition to the “Eagle’s Eye”, she is the co-chair for the Rotary club and is a dedicated member of the marching band, DECA, and Peacock Society. During her free time, she enjoys reading, binge-watching Food Network, and singing. She is excited to meet the rest of “The Eagle’s Eye” throughout the year!
