Instead of the usual two recipients, our school has chosen to recognize four hardworking and talented players for this week’s Athlete of the Week award. Their dedication to their respective sports advances Edison High’s sports legacy, serving the students of today while inspiring the athletes of tomorrow. We’ll be covering the last two athletes of the week in this article.
Roma Strikes
Robert Roma ‘26 is our third athlete of the week, competing on our school’s baseball team. Roma’s talent as a pitcher and a batter allows him to conquer on the baseball field, striking out eleven batters and going one-two with a double (having one successful hit that allowed him to reach second base safely), securing a victory for his team. Overall, Roma has struck out 48 batters, had ten hits, and 9 RBIs just in this season, proving that his skill and prowess truly bolster his team to success.
