Elango Serves
Representing Edison High as first and second singles on the varsity tennis team, Vinieth Elango ‘27 is our first athlete of the week. Throughout this season, Elango hasd a duel match record of 13-1, emboldening his true ability in his sport. Due to his success on the court, Elango has been chosen as the first seed for the GMC Tournament Singles Bracket, an honor that foreshadows his capacity to victoriously dominate his competition next month.
Smith Scores
Ashley Smith ‘25, an esteemed player on Edison High’s girls’ varsity lacrosse team and Rotary’s March Senior of the Month, is our second athlete of the week. Throughout this season, Smith has played offense masterfully, consistently scoring skillful goals to bring her team one step closer to victory. In her most recent games, she scored two goals against Monroe, three against Sayreville, and four against Hamilton West. Having a total of twenty-two goals this season, Smith has been a lead attacker for EHS, highlighting her commendable talent and dedication to the team.
