Horike Vaults

Our first athlete of the week is Emili Horike ‘25, our one-woman gymnastic team. Horike has represented Edison High in numerous competitions since her freshman year. This past season, she became the 2023 Beam State Champion. At GMCs, she placed fifth on vault as well as second on bars and beam. Additionally, she placed fourth on floor and second all around. At states, Horike placed fourth on bars, first on beam, and sixth all around. She represent Edison High well as she continues along for the next season.

Pittenger Runs

Our second athlete of the week is Paolo Pittenger ‘24 from the cross country team. This past season, he made it to the Group Four state championship. There, Pittenger ran a 48-second course PR (personal record). With his last cross country season with Edison High finished, we will continue to cheer him on as he continues to run for our track team in the winter and spring.
