Mosley Jumps
Our first athlete of the week is Jah’mir Mosely ‘27 on the varsity track and field team. At the 2026 Rocket Relays, Mosley had a split of 34.03 seconds in the 300-meter portion of the Swedish Relay, allowing the Edison High boys track team to take second place in the relay. He also jumped a height of six feet, placing him third in the GMCs for the boys high jump. Additionally, Mosley recorded a nineteen-foot and two-inch jump as part of the long jump relay at the 2026 Husky Relays, allowing his team to take first place. Overall, Mosley’s dedication and skills have propelled him and the EHS team to success.
Fugate Pitches
Jenna Fugate ‘28, on the girls varsity softball team, is our second athlete of the week. Fugate has recorded her 200th career strikeout in the game against Wardlaw and Hartridge, with 68 so far this season. She currently has a .333 batting average, with two doubles and five RBIs. Having been chosen as player of the game twice so far this season, it is clear that Fugate is a leading player on the softball team.
