Dawson Relays

Our first athlete of the week is Hailey Dawson ‘24 from the girls track and field team. She recently set a new personal record in the 400m with a time of 1:10. Dawson also ran the second leg of the 4x400m that helped qualify the team for nationals with a personal record time of 1:03. Finally, she helped the team place second in the Greater Middlesex Conference. As the spring season ends, Dawson is accomplished with her new personal records and placing high in her meets.

Bethea Jumps

Our second athlete of the week is Remy Bethea ‘24 from the boys track and field team. This season, he stepped up to run the third leg of the 4x100m, which then placed fourth at the GMC championships. Bethea also was the second leg of the 4x400m team that placed fourth and qualified for regionals. Along with relays, he placed sixth in the triple jump with a personal record of 43–0–5. With his final season at Edison High complete, Bethea leaves the nest with pride by competing on the track and field.
