Our athletes of the week, Isabella Charles ‘25 and Kayden Aravena ‘25, are both found on the field with the rest of the varsity girls soccer team. Both were key players in defeating J.P. Stevens on their senior night as they went into overtime. Charles scored three goals and one assist, and Aravena scored one goal and three assists. Against North Plainfield, Charles totaled one goal and two assists, and Aravena totaled six goals and one assist. Charles currently has ten goals and two assists from the season. Aravena totals fourteen goals and six assists. Together, the duo continues to finish their season strong as they enter the state tournaments.

Araniee Sothilingam has been contributing as a staff writer and photographer for "The Eagle's Eye" since her sophomore year. When she is not writing, she enjoys reading, listening to music, or taking pictures for different school events. She can also be found after school at Student Council, DECA, Film Club, or with the EHS orchestra.

Selena has been a member of the EHS Film Club since late December of 2023 and is a regular photography contributor to The Eye. She is the manager, videographer, and photographer of the EHS Wrestling Team. When she's not at a wrestling match you can find her at other sports or school events, as she tries her best to take pictures of every sport at least once. Other than being a photographer, Selena loves listening to music, being part of Student Council, hanging out with her friends, and making art.
